# **Description**

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

# **Tasks**

The position is located in inedible rendering. The Team member is responsible for cleaning inedible rendering which includes various tasks inside and outside during all times of the year. The following breaks the job down to include more details making sure floor is picked up and clean by using a shovel, scrapper, or using a hose with high pressure water using chemicals for various clean up on overheads, various equipment and on floors when needed will be required to help other team members in the dept. on various tasks such as using a bar to dislodge the bone bin and cleaning up any spills within the rendering dept. and outside the normal area. Other tasks include lifting up to 80 pounds with assistance. Moderate to heavy pushing pulling is required for various tasks involving standing and walking throughout the duration of the shift. The typical temperature of the work area is about 80 degrees and during summer months some areas can get up to 120 degrees depending on the location in inedible rendering. Team Members are encouraged to dress appropriately before they arrive at their workstation. Must be able to work with little or no supervision.
